Is Lagadapati with his second wife?

Is Lagadapati with his second wife?

The whereabouts of Lagadapati Rajagopal are yet to be traced and the police are on the run to catch the missing MP.

What made Lagadapati to escape from the hospital and where did he go are the two big questions that are being discussed here. There are several answers for the question on where did he go.

Some people say that he had gone to Visakhpatnam, while others say he had gone to Hyderabad. Some say he is trying to meet a judge and seek protection while others say he is likely to surface in the High Court.

There are also answers that Lagadapati is in a private hospital getting treatment and would come out soon to undertake his much-talked about padayatra.

There are many more such answers for the first question on his missing. But, there is one guess on the second question. Why did he take the decision to escape from the hospital?

It is said that Lagadapati’s second wife had visited the hunger strike camp on Friday noon. There was commotion at the camp as his first wife, Lagadapati Padma, along with her sons, was present on the dais. Padma, on seeing the second wife, shouted at her and also the Congress workers. Lagadapati’s sons too shouted at the hapless woman, who visited the hunger strike camp along with her one-year old son.

The Congress workers and the police have sent her back from the venue. It is said the woman was pained at the insult, made suicide attempt at her mother’s house near Poranki. She was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where she is being treated.

Lagadapati came to know about this on Saturday evening through his supporters and is said to have decided to move out of the hospital. It was only then, he planned the escape and it is believed that he is now with the woman in a house belonging to a doctor, who is treating the woman.

It is a fact that the woman had visited the hunger strike camp on Friday afternoon, but was sent away after she was abused. Lagadapati remained silent when his wife Padama and sons were abusing this woman.

Lagadapati’s office staff called up all the media persons on Friday evening and requested them to ignore the issue relating to the woman. Except one paper (Andhra Bhoomi), no other media made a mention of this trouble and the humiliation caused to the woman.

Another brutal attack on a Girl

Minister for Home Mrs Sabitha Indra Reddy on Friday said the government would extend all help and support the family members of Anusha, who was attacked by a stalker at Lalithanagar in Rajamundry in East Godavari district on Thursday.

Expressing serious concern over attacks on women, the Home Minister said that the state government would take firm action against Rajesh, who attacked the girl with a knife for spurning his advances. She said that the government would bear the burden of studies for Anusha’s sisters and would help the family members financially also.

She called upon the anti-ragging committee members to act against such incidents. The government would enact a special law to prevent such incidents in the state, she disclosed. She said the people should react strongly against such incidents. “It is responsibility of people to react strongly against such incidents. Then only the government can prevent and make stern laws,” she added.

To prevent such incidents, the government would conduct counseling in colleges with experts, psychologists and police officials, she added. She said there was no irresponsibility on the part of police side in the incident. The police acted swiftly and registered a case.

Meanwhile, the victim Anusha, who was undergoing treatment at Government General Hospital, while giving her statement to District Magistrate urged him to impose capital punishment for Rajesh. Student organizations and women associations staged a dharna over the incident in the city and demanded the government to take stern action against the guilty. Protesting the incident, the autorickshaw owners called for Rajamundry bundh on Friday.

The city police on Thursday night arrested Rajesh on the charge of attacking and injuring Anusha with a blade and killing her parents. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), D Janaki Matta Rajesh (25), a worker in a petty shop, allegedly went to the house of Nalla Anusha (20) in Lalithanagar at about 8.30 pm and tried to slit her throat with a blade. When her parents – Srinivas (45) and Satyavati (43) – tried to go to her rescue, Rajesh allegedly attacked them with a knife. They died on the spot.

Roja negates joining Congress NEW

Was Roja really interested in Congress?

There have been speculations over leaders from non-Congress parties joining the Congress for over two months. Rumors have also been doing rounds across, generating much heat in the political circles about the defections.

The Opposition Telugu Desam, Telangana Rastra Samithi, Praja Rajyam and the CPI-M have blamed the Congress, particularly the Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, for encouraging defections in the Opposition parties. They have also named it as “Operation Akarsh” wherein the Congress was attracting more leaders from the TRS and Telugu Desam.

Though the Chief Minister Dr Reddy, the Finance Minister K Rosaiah and the APCC president, D Srinivas, have denied the charge, it was believed that the Congress was engineering defections in the Opposition parties to weaken them.

Now, to the surprise of every one, the Chief Minister himself had admitted about a defection, which rocked the State politics. The Chief Minister, while admitting that there have been feelers from Opposition leaders seeking entry into the Congress, revealed that the Telugu Mahila president, R K Roja, herself sought entry into the party.

Roja, a firebrand leader in the TD, who grabbed much attention during the elections with her comments against Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, is equally opposed to the Congress. But, the statement by the Chief Minister himself gives strength to the news.

However, Roja had denied having given feelers to join the Congress and said she was opposed to the Congress politics and would continue to be anti-Congress.
Now, the option before the public is who is to be believed.

magadheera feed back from theatres3

Kamma film, Kapu film

http://andhralekha.com/magadheera/video_index.php?vid=vOn-A85AsRY

The Telugu film industry seems to be divided between the two dominant castes – Kamma and Kapu. This division has been there for over one decade with leading heroes Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna representing the two castes.

There were several incidents where the fans of the two heroes clashed across the State at the time of release of their films. Even the college students are divided on the caste lines in forming the heroes’ fans associations.

Now, the second generation is coming up with Chiranjeevi’s son, Ram Charan Tej and Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya taking over the reigns. While Chiru’s son Charan had made his debut with Chirutha last year, Chaitanya is making his maiden appearance now with a film Josh.

On Friday, Charan’s second film – Magadheera – was released with much fan fare. While keeping an eye on the Chaitanya’s Josh, the film is also trying to break the record of Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri.

The Megastar fans were told to do everything to break the Pokiri record, besides keeping the audiences intact by the time Josh hits the screen. The Megastar fans have been working out round the clock across the State to create much hype for the Magadheera movie. They have been fighting with the authorities to allow them to screen the movie five shows a day against four shows.

It is to be seen how the new generation Tollywood would survive if it gets divided on the caste lines like this.

Political heat touched Magadheera

Star sons often have an unfair advantage over their competitors. But Ramcharan Teja appears to be paying a price for being PRP chief Chiranjeevi’s son.

Govt officials have thrown the rule book before mega family and reduce the shows up to four per day. All off sudden it happens in only Mega sons case where in Andhra and Rayalaseema treditionally get seven to eight shows per day.

In Tirupati RDO stressed that films may have exhibited six to seven shows in the past but he will not allow it in this time. He however showing the rules and regulations in the law in order to prohibit the movie.

Of the 10 theatres exhibiting ‘Magadheera’ in Tirupati, seven belong to prominent PRP leaders. And papa Chiru is the MLA from here. The father-son duo’s fans argue that their films are being deprived of more shows when films of Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu have traditionally had seven to eight shows.

So who is the villain? According to Tirupati PRP leader Kiran Royal: “Officials are playing dirty by quoting a rule which was never implemented when films of other stars were released.”

Not to be browbeaten, fans associations and PRP leaders might go for ‘benefit shows’ by buying out one or two shows of other films exhibited in theatres, said sources.

The craze for Ramacharan — whose debut film ‘Chirutha’ was released over a year ago — is also evident in the prices of tickets in black. “Chirutha’s box tickets went for Rs 6,000 each in a theatre in Vizag. It might touch Rs 7,000 now given the mass hysteria for his films in north Andhra,” a manager of Srikanth Film Distributors claimed.

While the film is expected to be released in nine theatres in Guntur city alone and nearly 100 theatres in the district, ironically, several Congress leaders in Guntur have booked theatres for all shows for the first two-three days. These include heavy industries minister Kanna Lakshminarayana’s son Nagaraju who has blocked tickets for all the shows (July 31) in two theatres in Guntur, while city mayor Rayapati Saimohan Krishna reportedly booked an entire theatre, said sources.

While the restrictions might spur more houseful shows, the star son on his part has been looking heavenward for the success of his film and was seen praying at the Pedda Dargah in Kadapa and the Srikalahasti Temple on Wednesday.

Magadheera Initial feedback

The movie Magadheera released today with high expectations under political heat. Final verdict, this is one of the greatest movie in Telugu film industry with high technical values and amazing screen presence.DO NOT MISS IT!Rating is 4 out of 5.

Michael Jacksons hair burning HD - long version

Jackson's fire accident footage surfaces

The never-seen-before footage of Michael Jackson's harrowing accident while shooting for a Pepsi commercial in 1984 has been made public.

American magazine 'Us' has obtained the video which shows how Jackson suffered second and third degree burns while shooting for the commercial in Los Angeles's Shrine Auditorium on January 27, 1984.

It is said that 'King of Pop' developed an addiction to pain killers and prescription drugs after the accident.

Jackson also developed an interest in plastic surgery while recovering from the accident, the magazine has claimed.

The clip shows the pyrotechnics exploding as planned after Jackson descended the stairs and began performing with his brothers and the star continued to perform the stunt.

However, things went horribly wrong with the sixth take as the firework erupted too early, igniting Jackson's head. The pop star unaware about the accident continued to dance for sometime.

Jackson had to depend on strong medicines to endure the pain and had multiple surgeries on his scalp to get a normal look, which ultimately kicked off his addiction towards plastic surgery.

Tips for job-seekers: Be positive, be ready

The best time to look for a new job is while you are still employed. But that is not always possible in a difficult job market, in which layoffs and downsizing are common.
1. Be positive about your abilities and your chances of finding the right job.

2. Know yourself. For instance, if you would find a long commute or the need to travel frequently on business stressful, do not apply for jobs that include such requirements.

3. Know what you want. Identify short- and long-term career goals.

4. Assess your skills. Make sure you are fully qualified for the field you want to be in.

5. Be good at what you do and take pride in your work at any level.

6. Keep your resume current and customize it for each job application. One size does not fit all, particularly in a tight job market. Check and recheck your application. One spelling, punctuation or grammatical error and you might be out.

7. Use the KISS principle and the "you" attitude in your application: Keep It Short and Simple. Write any cover letter from the point of view of the employer. Focus on how your skills fit the company, not simply on why you want the job.

8. Incorporate the wording in any careers ad in your application and/or covering letter.
Some career advisers suggest cutting and pasting the entire ad to the end of your resume and turning it into white ink so that it is not visible. In this format, it can still be detected by the computer scanner that checks applications for key words. This ensures that your application passes to the next stage. Applications that do not contain the key words -- and they are in the ad somewhere -- do not move on.

9. Network. Let friends, former employers, colleagues and other contacts know the kind of job/career you want. Find a mentor. Ask for advice.

10. Be there. Be ready, willing and able for any assignments that improve your skills and expand your contacts.

11. Volunteer. Helping others also helps you. You learn new skills, make new contacts and possibly land a job with the organization that takes you on as a volunteer.

12. Be prepared for job interviews. Make sure you know something about the company and/or position that you are being interviewed for.
Dress smartly and simply. Be especially particular about hygiene. Arrive early, so you have time for last-minute grooming and perhaps a moment to relax before starting the interview.

Greet the interviewer(s) with a smile when you enter the room. Stand until invited to sit. Sit straight during the interview. Listen carefully. Answer questions clearly and simply. Thank the interviewers for their time at the end of the session.

13. Be ready for such standard questions as "What is your greatest strength?" and "In which area are you weak?" For strengths, focus on innate aspects of character, e.g. ability to rise to challenges, adaptability, being a team player. For weaknesses, concentrate on things that can be learned, such as improving a second language, learning a new computer program.

14. No one should need to be told this, but be sure that your cellphone or any other beeping device is turned off during an interview.

Software exports raise fresh hope

andhralekha.com tells us though rattled by worldwide market meltdown, software units in the city have found a fresh hope with a study finding that the city has bright scope to emerge as tier-II destination for IT and IT Enabled Services. A study by National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) and AT Kearney confirmed that Vizag has huge potential for investment in IT and related units. The State Government has already spelt out its priority to promote Vizag as the second preferred city after Hyderabad for investment in IT.The recession has hit the morale of the software exporters based in the city. They are looking for policy guidelines to all the departments particularly Income Tax on the definition of their deemed export status to avail of concessions and withdrawal of 12.5 per cent service tax imposed on them last year as part of a stimulus package. The study pointed out that Vizag was currently seen nascent in terms of IT BPO activity but it had the potential to attract the industry going by the balanced mix of social infrastructure, large talent pool, availability of land and the cost of living. The study on location roadmap for IT growth assessment of 50 leading cities stated that Vizag had enough potential to fuel the industry’s growth. With the local software vendors getting orders from Microsoft, Oracle, Google and others through their Indian arm, they should get deemed export status as per the foreign trade policy. "However, this benefit is not being extended by the Income Tax Department due to some communication gap,” Naresh Kumar, CEO of Symbiosis Technologies", said. The entrepreneurs want that as per the foreign trade policy, orders received for foreign clients through their Indian arms should be considered deemed exports. The tax holiday was stopped after the multinationals set up their shops in India. The reduction in payments by foreign clients due to the slump could be overcome once the government comes out with more incentives to boost the morale of the exporters, an investor proposing to set up a software venture said. With a few more incentives, Vizag would definitely emerge as an ideal destination for big players with ‘anywhere reach within 20 to 30 minutes’ advantage from Rushikonda to any prime corner in the city, he pointed out.
